The Ruby Slipper Project volunteers are such iatrical
parts of our mission. With out each person and their
individual talents, this would still just be a dream. On
February 2, 2004, the dream became reality when 7 women decided that
this would be a worthy project to take on. Others have joined
us to help give hope and inspiration to many woman and children
through transforming their surroundings. Each persons talents
are used. From finding a new potential "client"
to scraping paint, the volunteers make it all
happen.
Age doesn't
matter either. There's nothing more rewarding than to see an eight
year old along side a group of middle-schoolers working on
projects to give to another child. There is a place for every
one. Some are not able to do back breaking work of a room
installation. Some people enjoy shopping for that much needed
piece of furniture. Others would rather give a monetary
donation.
Whatever your
talent, there's a project waiting for you.
